KALARI WINES

INTRODUCING KALARI

Kalari was founded by Valto and Pamela Heikkinen, and was a dream realized for the pair when they harvested their first wine grapes at Kalari in 1998. Ten acres of vines, including Chardonnay, Verdelho and Shiraz grapes, carefully brought to their prime and bottled.

Kalari has now changed hands, but remains a boutique, family owned vineyard situated on the banks of the Lachlan River in Cowra NSW, slightly west of Sydney.

Wine Styles

Daring to be different, Valto and Pamela have experimented with some wine styles unique for the Cowra region and are now well known for their three different Verdelho styles, and the Shiraz

The wine range now includes Chardonnay, dry Verdelho, fortified Verdelho and Shiraz.
